From November 15th to 18th, 2012, the activated carbon professional committee of the Chinese Ordnance Society and the Chinese Forestry Society co-organized the conference of "2012 National Activated Carbon Academic Symposium" and "Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the Activated Carbon Professional Committee" in Chongqing. This conference is the highest-level conference in the field of activated carbon recognized by the academia and business communities. A total of 56 papers submitted by the national activated carbon research units were included in the meeting, of which 2 papers from the Nanjing Zhengsen Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., an activated carbon production unit, were included.
Two papers from Nanjing Zhengsen Environmental Protection Technology Co. Ltd’s, "The development and experimental research on the mercury removal of sulfur-loaded activated carbon in the gas phase" and "Research status of activated carbon and modified activated carbon for mercury removal" were selected into the 2012 National Activated Carbon Symposium Proceedings. The participation in this conference reflects the determination of Nanjing Zhengsen Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. to fully serve the company's scientific and technological workers by setting up an activated carbon production and academic research platform. The conference broadened the horizons of scientific and technological personnel, stimulated their enthusiasm and creativity, improved their technical and professional qualities, and created a good internal and external environment for the scientific development of the company's activated carbon production.
